Výbor evropských regulátorů trhů cenných papírů (CESR) uveřejnil konzultační materiál na možnou úpravu směrnice o trzích finančních nástrojů (MiFID) pokud se jedná v bližší vymezení jednoduchého investičního nástroje pro účely tzv. testu přiměřenosti:

  This paper is concerned with the way in which the requirements commonly referred to as the appropriateness test apply to particular types of MiFID financial instruments. This paper therefore sets out for consultation CESR‘s further analysis of types of MiFID financial instruments and its proposed views on how specific types of MiFID products are likely to fit within the complex/non-complex categories for the purposes of the appropriateness requirements. Finally, the paper considers the scope of MiFID as it currently stands, in terms of the range of financial instruments covered by the Directive. It does not consider any possible future extension of the scope of application of MiFID standards (for example, as a result of any proposals from the European Commission).
