Nationals of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, who do not have a permanent residence permit in the Czech Republic and have only been issued a residence card in the Czech Republic and assigned a birth number by the competent authority of the Czech Republic, are entitled to the state support of building savings for a transitional period, i.e. from 1. 2. 2020 to 31. 12. 2020.
Persons residing in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, who are not holders of a permanent residence in the Czech Republic but are participating in public health insurance in the Czech Republic or public pension insurance under Czech law, shall be eligible, for a transitional period, i.e. from 1. 2. 2020 to 31. 12. 2020.
The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic is evaluating a public consultation on financial market innovations and consumer protection, which aimed to obtain stakeholders´ views on a number of issues related to new digital technologies in order to foster an innovation-friendly environment and to ensure up-to-date level of customer protection on Czech financial market.
Development of financial market innovation provides significant benefits for the economy but also contains risks that have to be managed. Therefore, the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic has prepared a public consultation on the subject.
