Updated English translations of the Capital Market Business Act and of the Bond Act
On 1 May 2020, the Act No. 119/2020 Coll., which amends some Acts in the area of regulating business on the financial market, entered into force. This Act, among other things, significantly amended Act No. 190/2004 Coll., on Bonds, as amended (Bond Act) and Act No. 256/2004 Coll., on Capital Market Business, as amended (Capital Market Business Act). The translation of the Capital Market Business Act also reflects changes made by Act No. 204/2019 Coll., which entered into force on 1 October 2019.
In connection with this, the Ministry of Finance publishes updated English translation of the Act on Capital Market Business Act and of the Bond Act in the version effective since 1 May 2020.
