The Expert Conference „Closing VAT GAP through Reverse Charge Mechanism“
The Ministry of Finance with the Czech branch of the International Fiscal Association host the expert conference „Closing VAT GAP through Reverse Charge Mechanism“, which will be held on Friday, 4 December at the Prague Congress Centre. The Minister of Finance Andrej Babiš, the Director General of the General Financial Directorate Martin Janeček will participate in the event as well as a number of experts from the Ministry of Finance, General Financial Directorate, European Commission, EU Member States, business and academia.
All participants will have an opportunity to present their views on advantages and disadvantages of the reverse charge mechanism and the role of its wider application in panel discussions. The conference will be a unique opportunity to get interesting information about the potential impacts of the opening of the reverse charge mechanism, which is a priority of the Czech Republic in the tax area at the European level.
